![]() The Jordan Youth Development Trust was registered as a charity early in 2008. Two of the trustees are Terry McMillan, a Southwark based businessman and his brother, Michael McMillan, an internationally renowned writer, curator and published author. Terry and Michael grew up in Hackney as part of a supportive and encouraging family atmosphere – a key ingredient in the success they have both achieved. It is very much their belief that all young people have the potential to flourish if given the right grounding in life.
The aim of the Jordan Youth Development Trust is to provide this grounding for young people who might not otherwise enjoy that benefit. It does this by providing positive role models for young people, recognising latent talent and nurturing potential within young people.

We at the Jordan Youth Development Trust are always interested to hear about projects that will benefit promising young people. If you are involved with or are planning an initiative that you believe will bring positive results to young people who may otherwise miss out on the opportunity please submit details of your intentions to us.
The joint project between Jordan Youth Development Trust and Incipient Minds has been carefully devised to develop creative talent in young minds. We have provided a challenge that will deliver the opportunity for that talent to be recognised.
Participation in the project will exercise and nurture the creativity that exists in all young people, particularly highlighting those with a natural ability that may not have been previously encouraged.
